Thank you for your interest in joining the Jewish Center of Atlantic Beach. The JCAB offers several options for membership. In addition to standard family and individual memberships, the JCAB initiated Magen David, Chai, Bnai Mitzvah and Ner Tamid Memberships that are all conveniently inclusive of dues and annual contributions to our Building Fund, Annual Summer Breeze Dinner, High Holiday Appeal, Kiddush Fund with many other benefits. We offer the following standard membership categories:
Family Membership
Dues: $2,125/yearly + Affiliate (Men’s Club/Sisterhood) Fee: $75 + Security Assessment: $230. Total $2,430
Single Membership
Dues: $1,060/yearly + Affiliate (Men’s Club/Sisterhood) Fee: $35 + Security Assessment: $120. Total $1,215
Young Family Membership (both spouses under 35):
$1,550/yearly
Young Single Membership (under 35):
$775/yearly
Full paying members agree to contribute a minimum of $1,500 to the Building Fund over a maximum period of five years. This pledge will not be in effect until the second year of membership. As always, we will work with anyone in need of an accommodation. We appreciate your membership, support, and participation and look forward to seeing you in Shul.

Magen David Membership: $25,000/yearly
• 6 High Holiday seats
• $1200 “gift” to spend on your choice of additional JCAB expenses and contributions (Kids Club and donations to other charitable organizations through the JCAB excluded)
• Full Sponsorship ($5400 value) for one basic summer Shabbat Kiddush
Chai Membership: $18,000/yearly
Includes:
• 6 High Holiday seats
• $1000 “gift” to spend on your choice of additional JCAB expenses and contributions (Kids Club and donations to other charitable organizations through the JCAB excluded.)
• Full Sponsorship ($5400 value) for one basic summer Shabbat Kiddush.
Bnei Mitzvah Membership: $13,000 / yearly
Includes:
• 5 High Holiday seats
• $750 “gift” to spend on your choice of additional JCAB expenses and contributions (Kids Club and donations to other charitable organizations through the JCAB excluded.)
• Co-Sponsorship ($2700 value) for one basic summer Shabbat Kiddush.
Ner Tamid Membership: $10,000/yearly
Includes:
• 4 High Holiday seats
• $500 “gift” to spend on your choice of additional JCAB expenses and contributions (Kids Club and donations to other charitable organizations through the JCAB excluded.)
•Co-Sponsorship ($2700 value) for one basic summer Shabbat Kiddush Luncheon.
Discretionary “gift” dollars may be applied to:
- • Contributions to JCAB funds for simchas or bereavements
- • Additional High Holiday seats (beyond the 8/6/4 you are entitled to)
- • Shul Friday Night Dinners
- • Sisterhood Mishloach Manot
- • Scholar-In-Residence sponsorship
- • Additional Kiddush or Seudah Shlishit sponsorships
- • Special JCAB events that have an admission fee
For your convenience, the Special Memberships includes:
